Find your way back to the conversation. Start with the question that sounds most like yours.
Ask the person who invited you for a new link. Invitations are single-use and expire after seven days. Keep your link private; it is intended for you.
Open app.across.chat and follow the email sign-in steps. Check your spam folder if the email does not arrive. Use the same email/account you joined with. If a sign-in link is no longer valid, start the sign-in flow again.
Check your connection and allow a moment for translation. View the original message and use a retry control if the app offers one. If the wording is unclear, ask the sender to rephrase. Translation can depend on available usage allowance; your pilot administrator can check it.
Open your preferences and choose an available reading language. This changes how you read messages; other members keep their own preferences.
Enable message notifications in Your preferences on each browser/device and allow the browser permission prompt. Check your operating-system notification settings too. On iPhone or iPad, add Across to your Home Screen first. Delivery also depends on pilot availability and device settings.
Presence is a helpful indication, not a promise of an immediate reply. Online reflects recent activity; Away appears after inactivity; Offline can mean the app is closed, disconnected, or the device is asleep. Browser restrictions can delay updates.
Use the app’s blocking and reporting controls. Don’t share invitation links publicly. For more about who can access a conversation, read Privacy & trust.
