Your first hello starts here.
A new language shouldn’t mean a complicated beginning. Here’s how to find your people and settle into Across.
01 · Follow your invitation.
Across is currently invite-only. Open the invitation shared with you by an existing member. Invitation links are single-use and expire after seven days. If yours has expired or has already been used, ask the sender for a fresh one.
02 · Sign in with your email.
Follow the email sign-in steps. Across uses SpacetimeAuth, so you may briefly visit its sign-in page before returning to the app. Use the same account each time to return to your conversations.
03 · Choose how you want to read.
Set your reading language in your preferences. Your choice is personal: the people you chat with can read the same conversation in a different language.
04 · Send something simple.
Say hello, ask a question, or pick up where you left off. Write naturally. Incoming messages are translated into your reading language, and you can open the original text when you want more context.
